Are you living your real dream or do you still dream of your real life?

This was my kick-off life question after my famous backpack trip through South America in 2018. I’ve always had a very good eye and a big passion for any kind of visual arts, especially for photography. A former childhood friend had told me once, that she never understood why I’ve been waiting to reach the notorious thirties to work as a professional photographer, since my former children’s room was completely laminated with fashion magazine covers and works of magnum portraits.

Therefore, I’m more than thrilled to welcome you on my very first blog of my super fresh website, designed by talented Webdesigner Chiara Zardi.

Why a blog? Are blogs still a thing in 2023? 

I love to tell stories. Especially through my photography. 

I believe in the power of words, I always keep notes, thoughts from my head and inspiring phrases from my surroundings wherever possible recorded.

For myself, as a next inspiration for a next shooting, for yourself to eventually motivate and inspire you. 

Referring to the question, if blogs are still fashionable in 2023; Generally, people set new trends by breaking common opinions and beliefs. So in times of fastest consumption of impressions through social media, I strongly believe that allowing yourself to indulge a conscious reading might be a beautiful experience for all of us.

Since it’s my first blog ever, don’t be so harsh with me. Let’s see as a personal heart-project to speak about upcoming important events, exhibitions I’m working at, personal stuff that moves me, adventurous challenges of becoming a full time freelancer and last, but not least about photography itself.
